Technology in the Classroom

Many students can benefit having a Ipad during school hours. For me i feel like this would be a great idea because it would take tons of weight off of my shoulders. I know i'm organized when it comes to technology so this would be a great improvement for me. I can get unorganized when it comes to text books and papers. Having all my information in one spot will help me a lot.
This will also change the way the classroom works as well. When you walk in, you sit down and wait for your homework to be collected. Instead your homework was already handed in over the internet. This would obviously lead to lessons being started faster. This could also benefit the students a lot because that time used to collect homework can be used to ask questions to understand the topic more. One of the very last sentences explain "Daniel Brenner, the Roslyn superintendent, said the iPads would also save money in the long run by reducing printing and textbook costs; the estimated savings in the two iPad classes are $7,200 a year" and imagine the extra equipment the school can buy with an extra 7.2k!
This can affect the way i learn tremendously because when ever i ask a question most of the time i don't need to ask my teacher, I can ask google. This can be a great tool although it can take away a large part of the teachers job. When i walk into class my teachers could have his or hers lesson written up on a website or a document for us to read. There are so many possibilities that can happen when you give a whole school of students and teachers ipads!
